Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Midberry, who has been recognized as a Klein-Carnell Rising Scholar by her doctoral alma mater, Temple University's Klein College of Media and Communication.
The Klein-Carnell Rising Scholar award recognizes a Klein College alum who has received their Ph.D. in the past seven years and who has made a significant contribution to media and communication scholarship during that time. Dr. Midberry's work on solutions journalism in visual communication, as well as her collaborative research on news reporting and gun violence in the city of Philadelphia, funded by the National Institutes of Health, were highlighted as noteworthy accomplishments.
